I was a GM guy before I ventured into Fordom. When I popped a cylinder on a 306 I wanted to drop in a 6.0 but decided to build a GM again. I am still in the LS camp & I don't see anything Ford is offering to make me switch.

You're welcome. I do miss my stang only because the chassis was all set for 9's, but I don't miss the SBF. The DOHC motors do nothing for me, but your LS sounds like a turbine engine with afterburners lit. That is bad ***.

i made the choice to switch over to a ls single turbo build myself

I remember reading about your car on AFSC back when I was living in Arizona Chris. It was no slouch with your old combo either! Did that combo grenade or did you just decide to swap to LS?

Glad to see you switched to the new combo though. It should be a blast to drive.

Pulled to freshin sbf but got sent to Korea for a year, decided to sell to step up program. Went 9.4@148 on the 331/single turbo
Bought a buncha of high dollar sbf parts for new build and got cold feet because the $$$$. Then decided to try the LS world out.

Cam kit, Ls9 hg's, Ebay head studs, melling oil pump, trunion upgrade, and a fbody oil pan is all I did.
