My 2002 Twin Turbo Hoe
Been awhile since I posted here but I thought I would share my latest build. Hopefully within the next few weeks we will be able to go after the fastest SBE Tahoe 1/4 Mile Record.
Here's the details.
2002 Tahoe, 230K Mile Stock 5.3 with a Z06 Camshaft, 2007 LS2 Truck Intake, 90mm Billet TB, 80lb Injectors, Stock Fuel pump with an external sumped 044, Twin ON3 70mm Turbos, 2.25" Hot Sides, 2.5" Cold Side, Twin Wastegates and B/O Valves, Built Manual TH400, Billet 2800 Converter, Custom 3" Driveshaft, Lincoln Locked 10 Bolt.
Full weight Tahoe, Retains factory front and rear a/c, cruise control, radio, etc. We fabbed the turbo kit up so the manifolds stay in the stock location, nothing had to be moved or modified for the turbo kit besides battery being relocated to the back. All piping is tucked in nicely between the oil pan and frame with plenty of room. Runs and drives perfect with great streetability. Currently on 13psi. Combo has not be dyno'd but compared to what I have put it up against I'm guessing around 600rwhp on 13psi. It is tuned on E85 with a fairly aggressive tune.

There are no pictures of the hotside, that's the point, I think... Clean and hidden.
He did say that the truck manifolds are in their stock locations and the pipes run besides the oil pan. So I'm guessing that the exhaust still exists towards the rear, following the factory exhaust routing until the transmission/bellhousing, then turns forward, running on either side of the oil pan, to the front, where they turn up between the belts and radiator.
Just a guess based on the description he gave us.

Wow this made my day. I just bought an 05 Escalade and have thought of doing something cool with it.
Couple things
What was the reason to switch to the newer intake?
Did you remove all the 4 wheel drive stuff or was it 2wd to begin with?

I appreciate the kind words, I love this Hoe lol!
To answer a few questions on the hot side, yes manifolds remain stock, just looped the 2.25" hot sides back around front under the crank pulley up to the turbos. Both turbos have braces that attach to the motor aswell. Downpipes obviously exit on both sides of the front bumper. It is not intercooled, 2.5" merge to 3" with dual b/o valves to keep it all looking even and sweet.

Here is a pretty cool video from a few nights ago.
20xx Mustang GT with a Paxton Supercharger on 9psi, Tuned by HPP where it dyno'd 575rwhp. We were both on street tires, so we both peddled at first but eventually the groceries in the rear of the Hoe helped it hook later lol.
However I did loose to a heads/cam/nitrous/pullied (what I was told, rumor has it 712rwhp, I pretty sure he did not spray) 2 door CTS-V that pulled me about a car from 55-120. Oh well its a Tahoe
