Nope, not going to spend $3k+ on a rear when I have no real intentions of racing it.

I was just going to say that your 10 bolt is going to be "A OKAY" since you're not out there beating the snot out of it from a dig. I don't think people realize that an aftermarket rear is not always needed; it really depends on how you drive/race the car. If Brien were out there doing 6+ grand clutch dumps with a sticky tire, then yeah, his 10 bolt would be short lived.

A mickey has no place on a car that gets driven alot. The nitto 555r is a tire that would work well for him

My 10 bolt took a dump @ 550RWHP. On the street with 275/40/17 Nitto DRs. From a 30MPH roll. No wheel hop. Built 4L60E.

Hopefully he stays luckier than I did lol.

From what I've seen, your 10 bolt is either going to take a dump at stock HP levels, or it's going to be strong enough to launch it at the track. If Brien made it live with a 700+ RWHP D1SC setup, he'll be fine with the new blower setup.

I rarely beat on the car, so it'll be fine.

My rear broke on a 40mph punch with 550rwhp. You never know when it'll break, but at 800+hp, don't plan on it lasting forever!

If it pops, I'll pick up another 10-bolt in a junkyard for $300. I have AAA platinum which is good for like 200 mile tow.....

Trust me, I got this.

That rearend will never pop without traction. 19" wheels just do not support an *affordable* sticky tire. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it unless some serious DR's or slicks get bolted on.

Here's an overlay of my 347d1 combo vs the new 416f1a combo.
Before anyone asks, the d1 was spinning max rpm and the f1a still has about 10% left in it.
Tune on the d1 dyno had me at 17 degrees of timing compared to 14.5 degrees on the f1a.

100 more HP and nearly 60 more feet pounds of torque. I'd call that winning all day long. I wonder how the F1A would have done on the 346ci setup and how much more HP and TQ you'd have seen over the D1SC?

The torque would have been 100 ft/lbs more if the tires would have hooked. They started spinning at 4000rpm, and you can see the torque flatline till about 5200rpm when the tires started to hook back up.
