Well...I guess coating my WG dumps, warped them..or I don't even know what happened to be honest. We mocked up everything...test fit everything,...built jigs..... and now,..I can't even bolt on my WG tube unless I remove my master.
Yes...re fabbing is an option....unfortunately even If we redoe...I still have to figure out a way to route them. I would LIKE to change to a smaller brake master...or remote mount the reservoirs. Passenger side went on no problem, and is coated....so...I dunno.
Before
After(again....the driver side would not go on with brake master after coating)
Any of you fabricators use smaller brake masters? Or modify your setup to go remote mount? WITHOUT changing to some crazy racing pedals?
Up against a wall here.....and loosing valuable time.

Austin at STM just made aluminum reservoirs for his C5. See if he will make you a set?
Typically an EVO place but he is currently making a turbo kit for his personal car which is a c5.

Well that sounds promising. Any links to his build(pics)?
Either way...I will give him a shout and see if he's interested...and what his setup looks like.
Thank you.
(still open to suggestions-thoughts).

WTF?
The pic may make it look different, but it seems that pipe grew quite a bit towards the reservoir...
I'll ask the silly question, could you have the 2 sides mixed up, or are they not even that close in design?

Sometimes I wish I was that big of a jackass lol. Although I did THINK about them being flopped....it just isn't possible. They're very different.
I am baffled as well though. Only thing I can think of is MAYBE my driverside down pipe...is sitting higher(based on these pics)...and not allowing to drop down far enough, under the reservoir? Gonna spend some more time with it tonight maybe. Honestly though the entire exhaust, which is usually super easy....fought be every inch of the way. Not sure if I can move the pipes at all but.....will try.
I do like the dudes reservoir idea though. Saw the pics,....looks nice.

Any crazy chance the motor mounts were not fully seated/bolted in when you fabbed up the tubes?
I presume there hasn't been any heat in the exhaust since they were done...?

I originally ran the gate dumps directly into the tire well but it's a lot of flammage going in that area. Not the best route for me. If I ran skinnies....I could have interior pipes made and no big deal but I run 295 fronts or larger usually. No bueno for turning.

Problem is, I don't want to have to re-engineer the side exit dumps....that wasn't cheap, or easy. By cutting it up...I loose all that time and money...plus have to have it re coated(more time lost). I would really rather not dude....as regardless of how it may look...I ain't rich or even well off lol. Besides, the car is out of my families fab shop(hour north) and in my shop now. I figure next week, I can have a friend come by(professional fabricator) and make me a reservoir. That would be the least painless....least backwards approach to what we have already done, and I don't loose my investment, so much. I am just not good enough at welding myself yet, to claim to be able to make something that holds fluid.
