Lets remember how an O2 sensor functions guys...its intuitive to say that a better spark, burns more completely and shows a leaner mixture, but in most cases this is wrong. When you are NOT burning all of the fuel, you will have excess air and it will read leaner than it actually is. As you start to burn more of those excess hydrocarbons, the O2 sensor will in most cases report a more RICH value. Keep in mind its reporting whats in the exhaust and not what you put in the chamber.

I am not surprised the least bit that Orr89 had this exact result.

This same thing happens when adjusting end of injection timing (EOIT). Adjust and watch it get more rich until it stops, then lean it out. That s the best case scenario tune. You would now be at the highest thermal efficiency for that operating point assuming nothing else were going to be changed.
