3) What RPMs do you cruise at on the freeway with that glide, and what diameter are your tires?
Yes I have a Magnafuel 750 and it's pretty loud. It only runs when racing or comes in under boost on the street. Car street drives on a bosch 044 and it's quiet.

Cage is only good for 8.5 I was being sneaky lol Funny car cage is required for 8.49 and faster.

I can run 70~75mph at about 27~2800. 3.23 gear and 28'' tire.

Still running the 10 bolt. I paid a guy in Colorado well over a year and half ago to do the housing and get the parts and he never got it done. I will be seeing him soon...

Why not close the gap to 18-20?

Why close the gap if the bigger gap is firing fine now on the new coils? Wider gap = more complete burn.

Either that and/or combined with adjust dwell. That may have helped some.

He was saying he had issues with it blowing out on the Holley and truck coils. I was asking why he didn't just close the gap on that setup rather than buys new coils. Just curious, not telling him what he should have done.

My point was I never had any problem firing a .025-.026" gap on 25 psi with a factory ecu and coils but my holley would lay over at .018-.020" gap with the stock coils past about 23psi. You dnt really notice it the car would just hit a wall and stop making power. The new coils are firing to 26 psi at .020" gap but think they are starting to run out of juice after that. I lost 2mph as the air got better then ran same mph after I backed boost down. That's how it was acting before. Now Im going to start playing with the dwell setting.

Interesting. I dropped my gap to around 19 but haven't ran it over 23lbs on these truck coils yet. Thanks for the info.

I have run 27lbs with no problem with my Holley HP and ls7 coils but my gap was at .18
Interesting that the truck coils wouldn't do that for you.
