Default Wiring harness and computer help for lsx

I'm kinda new to the fuel injection world and I'm trying to figure some stuff out electronics wise. I'm in the process of build a blown lsx 427. I have gotten to a point to where iv hit a wall.
I am I desperate help on the computer and harness I need to use to get this thing to run as a daily driver but also have the 1k Hp when ever I want it. Now I know it will need to be tuned on a dyno and all that good stuff, but if someone could point me in the direction of a computer system and harness that will work for me It would be greatly appreciated! This motor is going in a 96 Silverado. And yes, it will still have a/c power steering and all that good stuff. I would still like to use cruise control and power windows and that good stuff but also not have to worry about service engine lights coming on 24/7. Please guys, I know y'all can help me and I'm In need.

It'll be the 700r4. I have a local race shop build it up for me. Iv heard I can run the original computer for the trans but I'm still out in left field trying to figure it out.

The Holley pcm seems to be really popular and easy to use

A 700 behind that engine is an exercise in futility... The "race shop" build is going to be mucho $$, and the reliability will be a ??, at best.
A 4L80E, a Holley Dom, and a piggy back w/ the original system, will control the engine, trans, and still allow the original "stuff" you need to retain.

OR, you could update to an LS1B ecm, stock system, and work from that, w/ a aftermkt harness.

I am not sure on the longevity of the 700r4 back behind the power plant you want. if you are want to have OD then 4l80e is your best bet. also you can do a full manual harness to the 80e and shift it yourself. then you can use ms2 or the gold box to control your engine. if your want the 80e controlled by ecu then you can use the factory ecu or you can add and a trans controller to the gold box.

Okay so throw out the 700r4 and go with a built 4l60 or 4l80. So I will end up Leaving the harness for trans and motor to run the normals and run the Holley efi computer for the new motor? Will it also run the fans and work with the stock guage cluster? I know these are probably dumb questions but I'm new on this efi stuff with LS engine. Iv done plenty or carbed LS engine but nothing like what I'm trying to do now

A 4L60 is nothing more than an electronically controlled 700R4.
With updates as they evolved.
You can make one live, for awhile. And they are big $$$

4L80 just makes sense at less than half the cost.

Well to be honest I don't give a sh*¥ about working on a trans. I'll take the easiest path when it comes to picking or building a trans. I'm open to all opinions on them. I would love to be able to use the trans i have but if I have to go to a different one then that's no problem either.

Go with a 4l80 it will be well worth it when you get to actually drive your car instead of wasting to get the trans fixed every three months

Will the 4l80e need to be built? Or is it pretty tough from gm? Iv always dealt with brinn and Bert 2 speed trans.
This won't be a all time race truck by no means. To tell the truth it won't be on much more than a 10" tire. I'm not looking for it to hook up and launch like John force
