Default Water intercooler radiator and pump input sought

I am going to be running a 417 'short' intercooler with a Holley mid-rise intake on a 5.3L with modest HP goals. The car will be daily driven with no drag racing.

Next on the shopping list are radiator and pump.

I will be running it in front of the engine radiator.

I was eye balling a 12x12x2"(type 117) and a 24x12x1"(type 100). Both will fit in front of my radiator with no problems. Here is an amazon link to both:
Amazon.com: Water to Air Intercooler Radiator - 12x12x2 (Type 117): Automotive Amazon.com: Water to Air Intercooler Radiator - 12x12x2 (Type 117): Automotive

Amazon.com: Water to Air Intercooler Radiator - 24x12x1 (Type 100): Automotive Amazon.com: Water to Air Intercooler Radiator - 24x12x1 (Type 100): Automotive

Both have the same volume. Is one preferable to another? My "gut" says the 24"x12"x1" because it has a better surface area at the front.

Second bit of input I could use is what would be a good water pump for it?

Bigger is better and correct, surface area is better, especially if it's frontal area.

As for pump, something that can flow a lot of water. Even one of the crappy Davies Craig pumps would be ok for that application, no idea what's available over there at sensible prices though.

Can you use a RV type pump with these? Will they push enough water? How does this type listed compare to a 3 or 4 in wide ebay IC? Just curious, it'd be easier to mount room wise, and wouldn't restrict air to the rad as bad I would think.

i used a normal afco radiator in my truck for this. my last pickup used a banshee radiator with a ~4 gallon reservoir and i didnt think it was enough heat exchanger. after some street time and boosting around in the summer the iats creeped up. using a normal radiator allowed be to eliminate the reservoir and increased the heat exchanger area significantly.
i use one of the $200 lpe vari-something pumps and it moves quite a bit of water. on my s10 i used all 3/4" id lines but when i moved it all to my full size, i converted it all to 1" id hose. it was worthwhile imo.

Can you not get the bigger core that is 2 inch thick? That would be the best of the 3 (if you can get it).
