Default Fuel Rails

I was told I could use my stk fuel rails, originally I was going with ebay rails. Anyway, my intake and rails are off of a 06, chevy truck. They have a 3/8's crossover which I was going to cut and install something that I can use a an fitting on. So I guess I come straight from the regulator to the inlet line on the rails, return line from reg back to tank. Will a 6 line be alright from reg to rails? I would like to run a 8, but since the line on the rails is 3/8, the fitting I'll have to install on it will have to be a 6. Hope this all makes sense.

Why complicate things by modifying it? Use an AN/GM adapter and run the standard dead head style supply off of a rising rate regulator.

Plumb it like this, with the supply and return on the rising rate regulator and one line from the regulator to the rail. I use this regulator. Worked great over the years.

I used the same regulator with my truck rails.
Don't stress over the size of the rails... The stock rails will get you to almost any streetable power level.

I turned mine around to keep the regulator off the firewall (track legal). Minor trimming to the plastic casting on the intake, done!

Just to fuel the fire, I've switch intakes and so now I have a truck manifold and a returnless fuel rail for sale if anyone is looking. I've also got an AN quick disconnect fitting(s) to go with it if that helps. Couple sets of injectors and retaining clips too, as well as some spacers/bolts to run taller ls1 injectors too.
