Considering Procharger, Do it or hold off?
There is some good info on this post, but from my experience, I have a D1 on a C5 vette. 6 rib setup with the upgraded A&A bracket. Its supposed to help with belt slip which it does, I am at around 475 rwhp 480 tq with a 4.38 pulley about 7.5-8lbs of boost. This is thru an A4 2002 C5.
I actually picked up a D1sc head unit yesterday for a KILLER deal and after talking with Bob I will be running a large blower pulley (3.5") to make ~8psi. So my P1sc with a 3" pulley will be for sale in the coming weeks.
I am also doing the ChevyChad poor man's belt wrap mod by adding a 2.5" timing pulley off a Lexus SC400 to the bottom J bracket standoff. I'm hoping this will cure my belt slip issue.
