Comp Turbo Oiling Help
I have a lq9 with a 76/79 comp CT43x billet wheel triple ball bearing turbo.
When I 1st set it up I ran a -4 line directly to the turbo. it over oiled on the dyno and blew the seals out. I send the turbo back and it was checked over and resealed. I just put it back on and this time ran a 0.030 restrictor to the turbo. It over oiled again on both side after running at idle for about 5 min. Not a lot but enough that it would only get worse.
The feed again is a -4 with a 0.030 restrictor, drain is a -10 strait up and down.
the PVC set up is a PCV on the drivers side and a a line from the pass side to the intake. the intake is a Edlebrock XT and the motor has a brian tooley stage 2 turbo cam.
any thoughts on what I can do to fix this?

What rotary is saying is you need some sort of catch can setup to vent the crankcase. Most guys run -12 hoses off the front of the valve covers to a catch can(s).
If you want to be fancy you could run evac setup and run it to the exhaust to help pull the excess pressure out.
Where and how high is the turbo mounted ?
Oil drain size and route etc ?
Draw a proper schematic of any crankcase breathing system, often descriptions are just wrong.
And in virtually every case...same causes....and pretty much in this order.
inadequate drain ( few factors here )
inadequate crankcase breathing
excessive oil feed
Every now and again you could throw junk turbo in there too.
I'll keep investigating and see. Maybe it is the crank case pressure. I am just surprised at idle I would have that issue
