Ya ya its a truck, but a cool one😎. 2000 rcsb 5.3 2wd new 4l65 yank 3000.
Stock 5.3, whipple supercharger 7psi, vinci cam, E85, shorty headers.
Going to the Dyno on Friday, have to leave it there😡. Mustang Dyno.
What are ur numbers????

Ok you have a cam 445 RWHP @ 7psi assuming around 310 RWHP NA w/Cam

They make around 250whp stock. With the cam you're around 300whp. With the whipple and a safe tune probably 425whp. Knock off some because of the mustang dyno...

I'll bump my answer up from 360whp to 385whp.

Not sure what dyno it was before but with the engine stock and whipple it was 320. Now we have e85 and a cam.

You're not picking up any real power from E85 at that level. The idea that a cam will gain you 100whp on a 320whp engine is also extreme optimism.

My 385whp guess stands.

E85 is basically 100+ oct, so we should b able to get more timing and cooler temps..

And things change from the dyno to the street.
So get a number, then retune for real world and enjoy the truck!
It should run nice.

Amen, unless "the number" is your thing just use the dyno as a tool. A well known local shop close to me dynoed their own nitrous car and it layed down roughly 450 rwhp. They went right to the track and it went 8.80s. Sounds super far fetched, but they don't count on dyno numbers to determine ETs.

I know it's just a number.. I was just board and made a post lol. It should b done Monday. My camaro with cam only and LT's made 370 on this dyno..

Close! I need a smaller pulley, only making 5lbs, I suppose the cam made it lose a few pounds. But right now it sits at 404whp. Not bad I think...
