Looking to re-ring my lq4 for boost. Suggestions?
Looking to re-ring my lq4 for boost. Suggestions? Plan on running 93 octane + meth. Shooting for 650-700rwhp with a turbonetics T7875. Budget build.
The cylinders will be honed and I do have the later free floating pistons with the ls2 rods looking to see which company I should choose for this project.

Also read the ring gap should be opened up some. I've read it should be near .028-.030. Does that sound good for my application?

Do you have a part number for them off hand? Can't seem to find it. I have a 1.5mm top ring. Everything I see is for a set of rings for one piston. And at 33 bucks a pop it's going to be a lot more expensive then the 2 options above.
