We went down a pulley size to keep the boost in check and put in ID1300's in because it was going on E85. When we originally spec'd and ordered the parts the customer wanted 650rwhp on pump. Things quickly escalated

Ended up at 800hp/700ft lbs w/ a very soft tune on E85. Customer was worried about the stock short block. If we had left the smaller pulley on it I'm pretty confident we would have touched 900 or been damn close.
What are the specs on the Jam cam and what pulley sizes gave you the 16 psi and then what pulley did you go to for final numvers? My 5.3 D1sc build turned into a forged 6.0 D1sc build and trying to get as much out of it as I can

Jam is 230/242 115 or so. Brian talked me into his 227/244 115... says he sees excellent results with it too.

I can't get E85 here. So I don't even care about sizing for it.

But the ID1000s make sense if you're at 70% at 750...

I'm at 223/235 116+5 now and really been looking into tick ls3 blower 2 cam 227/243 | .625”/.615” | LSA116+6 or btr blower cam. E85 isn't around me as either so 91 it is but I figured I'd get some fueling from 100% alky meth. Hopefully my deka 80's and walbro 450 will be enough

Anybody know anything about the Squash wiring kit? I have a Racetronix hotwire kit... would that be enough? Just add the Hobbs switch to it? Twin DW200s should be good to 1000rwhp at least.

My first WS6 build was a LS1 with a Procharger from Bob. You will love it and it will do everything that you want it to. Great street manners, then it will scream down the track. Mine was 642hp, 577 tq through a M6, ran mid 10 in the 1/4. I really miss my old one. But I am working on building my new one now. Good luck with your build.

I had the racetronix 680lph dual pump. I think it was good to over 1000 but I used all their wiring and it worked great. It had 2 relays to separate the pumps but I just wired them both to come on at the same time with ignition. With your fuel system you could just add the Hobbs switch for the 2nd pump to come on with boost or for fuel pressure. I think the guy at racetronix told me to set mine up for boost but I didn't want it clicking on an off a bunch when I was messing around on the street. If you do it for fuel pressure it just kicks on right after it sees the first pump come on. Also, if you use the Hobbs switch you could run a small LED light somewhere in your dash so you know when the 2nd pump is on. That way if the Hobbs switch fails you'll know before you start beating on it.

Have you got all the Procharger stuff ordered? I'm going to follow this build closely. My goal is to have a D1SC Procharged setup in the near future.

I'm surprised you haven't gone that route yet. I noticed you commenting on a lot of procharger posts last year when I started my procharger build.

Yeah, I'm working my *** off with my detailing/side business trying to save up cash. I bought a Silverado too, so that ate up a lot of what I had saved.

I understand that. I bought almost everything used and it still adds up quick.

I'll order it soon. Will run it like this for a while.

Plan to Procharge this motor as it sits... 11.2:1 with Meth injection. Keep it around 8PSI... would be a fun street car. Once it blows, I'll look at forging the motor or maybe moving to a 402 with an F1.

That's gonna be good. Gotta be some e85 stations in Florida somewhere then you could really take advantage of the compression.

Maybe a couple hundred miles away. It'd be easier for me to run 110 octane.

I've thought about that too... rebuilding the shortblock as a 347 and aiming for 10.8:1...

So I was looking at L92 Fox's build... and the use of the Burkhart Chassis front bumper support for the FMIC is an idea I really like... so now I'm thinking of doing the FMIC as well with the larger truck intake. Since I'll be stock bottom end for a while longer, would it be worth it to try and do an F1A? Even with a 4.75" or 5" belt I'll be at 12+ PSI on a 347.

Just stick with the D1 and move to the F1A when I forge the motor? Everything will be ready at that point...

The largest ProCharger pulley made is a 5.25, which generally will get you around 10 to 12 psi depending on your engine combination and how high you rev it to, along with your elevation. Unless you're financially prepared to rebuild the engine should you crack a piston, I'd wait on the F-1A. Bob
