Default [VR] 1,064rwhp F1X Powered C7 Z06!!! - Stage IV Package + Procharger

This particular C7 Z06 came to us once again all the way from Arizona with one goal in mind... to break the 1,000rwhp barrier without the use of nitrous! For this, we reached out to our friends at Procharger for their all new LT4 system which removes the OEM 1.7L supercharger and replaces it with their custom Procharger manifold, and uses the proven F1X centrifugal head unit.

Previously this customer had us install our Stage IV Performance Package, as well as a dual nozzle AlkyControl methanol injection system, and E85 flex fuel sensor to bring it to an already stout 750rwhp. As we all know, 1,000rwhp is the new 500, so we knew it would not be long until this gearhead called us back to push the bar even farther. Our Stage IV package included:
  • Halltech Cold Air Induction System
  • Vengeance Racing 2.38” Supercharger pulley
  • Vengeance Racing 10 Bolt supercharger hub
  • Vengeance Racing CNC LT4 Cylinder Heads
  • Vengeance Racing billet core camshaft
  • Vengeance Racing Dual valvesprings w/ Ti retainers
  • Vengeance Racing Hardened Pushrods
  • Trunion Upgrade
  • Katech C5R Timing Chain
  • Camshaft Phaser Limiter
  • High performance lifters- NON DOD
  • ARP Head Bolts
  • Vengeance Racing Ported supercharger/snout
  • Nick Williams 102mm Gen V DBW Throttle body
  • American Racing stainless long tube header system with 3” X pipe
  • Vengeance Racing High Temperature protective heat sleeves
  • 160* Thermostat
  • Custom ECU Calibration

Additional previous modifications include:
  • AlkyControl Dual Nozzle Methanol Injection System
  • Vengeance Racing Flex Fuel Sensor Kit
  • RPS BC3 Triple Disc Carbon Clutch Kit

Tear down of the car's current supercharger system started quickly to start installing the Procharger kit. Knowing that fueling would be an issue at 20psi, there were a few additional modifications performed to help feed the extreme amount of air moved through this blower. We first installed an additional methanol nozzle to not only add additional fuel, but also help control intake air temperatures for those warm nights of racing. We also wanted to utilize the flex fuel E85 capability that was already on the car, so our custom C7 auxiliary fuel system was installed.

Once fueling was covered, the rest of the supercharger system was completed including this very nice black powdercoated intake manifold and cover from Procharger!

In the end, the customer's goal was to break the 1,000rwhp mark, and we delivered! The result was a HUGE 1,064rwhp / 942rwtq with a 60% ethanol content and very conservative timing to keep this LT4 living under the hard driving that we knew the owner was going to put it through. Driveability is extremely nice with this system as well with a much more linear and manageable power band.

1000 @ 5500 rpm is killer. No need to spin it to moon to make some steam.

Would love to have a car/driver type long term review of some of these cars. Like keeping up every 6 months or so for a few years, the abuse and mileage accumulated and see what the death rate of factory components are on a brand new car.

The torque curve is on the dyno graph, though it may be hard to see depending on your monitor settings since it is a darker line.

These are the B&B Fusion mufflers on this car to retain the bi-mode exhaust function.

Thank you! I wish we could do that as well, however it is tough since most of our customers go through cars quicker than most of us do pairs of shoes
