I will have to verify with my GPS on the cell. I will also have a single pickup per revolution (driveshaft) that i can compare it to.

That's what I was going to ask as I know you have the Holley EFI. I've been trying to figure out how to make the Holley work w/o the Davis Box. I'd be very interested to know how you're planning to do this?

10-4 Keep us posted. It would be nice if the Holley could do what a simple MS box can....that cost quite a bit less than the Holley...

Here a crazy idea.. Since I have access to CNC equipment. What do you guys think of scalloping the tops of the rotors? I could cut as many groves as I wanted perfectly machined in..

Attachment 535566

Basically doing this many times over on a precision CNC mill.

Attachment not working.

I've seen guys machine the inner portion of the disc surface before to create a trigger, ie the area where the pad doesnt touch. I wouldnt be doing it at the outer edge where the pad does touch.

That's good to hear. No contact on the part where I would be doing it.

Depends on the type of sensor you are using.

If the sensor has a magnet in it, it will pick up all the fine dust being flung out from the rotor, and will be in the path of the hot air as well.

Sensor I'm using does not require a magnetic signal but I don't know if the sensor itself is magnetic.

sounds like a fun project. I was reading (well trying it was in spanish) this post where this guy used a steel ring from a th400 attached to his hub for his traction control (I think MS3) . Something like this-

Update. The minimal .200 spacing "issue" made zero effect on the sensor reading. The signal is clear as day.
