Default Race gas for turbo LS1

Hey guys, I have a 2000 Camaro M6 with a Turbonetics t76, racetronix pump, and 80lb injectors. I'm wanting to go to the track this weekend, and had a question. It is currently tuned for pump 93 and 8psi, wastegate only. I just got a boost controller, and wanted to try turning it up to say 12psi at the track, and was wondering if it would be worth getting some unleaded race gas before doing this? I was wanting to do this to try and stay safe. Would anyone recommend sticking with pump gas and doing this as long as I keep an eye on the air fuel ratios? Thanks for any advice

Personally, at 12 PSI I would just stick with pump gas. Make sure timing is no higher than 12-14 degrees and have at it. I wouldn't go any higher on boost or timing without water/meth.

My tuneup wasn't right for 30+ PSI. I've got that almost a dozen times and haven't had any issues. Low timing and water/meth go a long way.
