OK, thanks.

Also while I am here.

Weekend update.

I cut up my brake booster to use the mount plate for the manual brake setup. The stock master sucks and is hard as hell to push, so I'll be buying the right master cylinder for manual brakes. But this work allowed me to basically finish up the firewall covers and get it painted. Keep in mind, this is a race truck, so its not a perfect paint job. Once I get the new master installed I will clean up the brake lines and install the line lock.

After messing with trying to find a good way to mount the electrical panel with no luck, I ended up cutting it in half and mounted it all behind the dash. The MS3 box is mounted to a plate that mounts with rubber standoffs for vibration reduction. Then the relay/fuse panels and mounted to the roll cage and fits perfectly behind the glove box. So I can reach the fuses and relays pretty easy. All of this was to get foot room. I did start wiring stuff up but did not finish so I didn't take a picture of the wiring mess I have right now.

Nope. Just going to run a manual master. Ive seen some guys use this stock master and it works. Mine didnt, its hard as a rock. Ill buy a tilton or wilwood most likely unless I find a stock type that will work.

Ive been to that website before and was going to buy a kit. Might look at one after i talk to them.

Thanks for the legwork on that!

Now that the information is known for TU2, comparing it to the TU1 cam (which I'm guessing runs ~50 degrees overlap) is 15 degrees more really a big deal?

Well, I had a delay on the engine completion. The pistons I bought wont work. They are for a 4" crank. So.... I bought a set of stock pistons to go in it. I also bought the Stock48 224 Isky cam. So, that shouldn't be an issue any longer. I am hoping to have the engine built and in the truck in the next 10 days or so. My up and forward Jardine headers came in yesterday. So its getting closer.

Snap some good pics of the headers when you get them installed. I want to see what kind of room you have.

Will do. I am going to talk to Jarrett some more about the engine build and fueling. He just might convince me to go to e85, but I'm not sure I have the right fuel system to flow enough with just 80lb injectors. Someone will chime in on this here I am sure.

I'm going with two Bosch 044's, e85 and Holley 160lb injectors. My build will be real close to yours. I will have a th400 though. I had a th350, it didn't make it to long behind my 5.3.

Going to stay with gas for now. See where it gets me and then think about e85 later.

Almost done with the wiring. At least on the passenger side. I hate wiring, and I really hope that its right and I don't let any smoke out when I put power to it the first time.

Yea, Ive done a bunch of race cars. From simple stock cars not running crap to my Top Dragster with nitrous. Our buddy that owns a shop would wire the Pro Mod and the 2 Top Sportsman cars that read absolutely everything possible for data logging. I just hate wiring. I can do it, but I always doubt myself. And this one has lights and everything that has to work as well.
