Default Head Gasket?

I'm boring my cylinders out to 3.905". Which head gaskets can i use?
It's for a 383 stroker/blower setup with 9.1:1 compression. Will the 6.0 MLS gaskets work ok? I'm using LQ9 heads with my setup. Thanks, Den

Yes it would be perfered. you need to use a gasket maching your cumbustion chambers, for the 6.0 heads its at least a 4" gasket.
same bore size i have with the 6.0L heads and i use a 4" gasket, where as my 3.905 gasket leaked.

Thanks for the info. I thought i remembered someone saying to use the GM 6.0 MLS gaskets. I checked out your web site..MAN thats a sweet car!!! I wanted NBM but they sold that color with an A4 the day before i bought mine. I was pissed..lol. They had 3 others but they were all 6-speeds and my SS was a 6-speed. Plus i wanted to try a A4 with a converter this time around. It looks like you are running a Thunder 224 cam? I like that cam. Thought about getting one for my current motor until the new one is built. I'm goin to be using a Procharger not a turbo, you think a 383 with a 12# Procharger would work good with a TR224? Thanks for your help.

make sure you have 99+ cylinder heads before using the gm mls gaskets, 98's you need cometics to seal at the notches on them.

thanks for the complements. i orginally wanted black, but couldnt find one with a 6speed, so i got this instead.

i do have the cometic at a .067" thickness to get my CR were i wanted it. the Gms will be chaper and just as good so if you can get the CR using the GM's do that.
