Default Need some advice

What's needed on my 86000 mile ly6 6.0 motor to survive boost. Trying to be around 800 to 1000 hp turboed.
Rods, pistons needed?

Rod bolts? LOL.

Filing rings isn't a bad idea. Anytime you plan to run high boost on pump gas, opening up the factory rings is a good idea.

Cam and valvesprings, again not a bad idea. Cam surprisingly doesn't have nearly as much effect on power potential as it does on behavior. And valve springs for boost are a good idea for a high mileage engine because over the years they soften and cause float.

I am new to the turboed ls motors, just don't want to have engine failure, so rod bolts will be fine

Power has absolutely zero direct effect on rod bolts, so unless you plan on shifting at 7600 RPM, you're not going to need them.

Most of the time they do more harm than good. If I had a dollar for everytime someone spun a rod bearing with ARP bolts in their stock rods, I would have a full sponsorship.
