Since you brought up the tt c5 I'll address that as well. Saying that your tt c5 went 8.4 @170 mph in the quarter will definitely impress most people, it shows that the thing is making some steam. But to a real enthusiast who loves the sport, I see a car with an expensive engine package and a chassis that is lacking. You're at minimum a half second off where you should be optimizing that set up and getting the chassis sorted out for all that power, and the fact you only ran it once shows you really dont care to optimize the set up. Not sure what friends you lost or what respect you gained, but no drag racer is going to swing from the nuts of a car that traps 170 and only goes 8.4 lol. But it's obvious you're no real racer or enthusiast, you are all about that dyno number and trap speed to be able to brag to less knowledgeable people. And that is all fine and good, just don't get online with your chest poked out strutting around and expect people that know a thing or two to suck you off. Just stick to bragging to Honda kids.

You make a huge assumption the car is a dedicated drag car with that statement though ?
Some people race for fun, and couldnt give a **** about turning a car into a drag car...and lets face it, a C5 would be a great all rounder and turning it into a drag car would destroy some of that

Hangs on the truck site and gives me a ton of **** for running a centri and trying to hang with the fastest turbo trucks. Lately, has resulted in some epic **** talking over there and he got banned........but he'd probably try to have his way with you as well. The dudes a tool bag with hole in the bottom of it and he has hinted at have sexual identity issues as well. A true born and bread yankee **** sucker.

way to go Jaffro, its amazing how much $$$ has been spent and how many guys have no faith in their builds ....and how many guys have packed it in. I guess that's what happens when you go to the wrong shop. With the numbers your starting to put up...I suspect there will be a fiew more retirements coming LMFAO. NON PULL BESIDE ITUS, its the latest epidemic here in the GTA. If anybody has a cure, please let us know.

On that note, I am building a turbo LS street car now, that has an IRS I swapped from a different vehicle. I already know it will be far from a dialed in drag car, which is fine with me. If I could break into the 150's I would be exhilarated, 170's though...christ

I doubt any of this happened because of your awesome world record breaking car, Most likely because of the fact that you were just being you.
Most people don't call it chest pounding when your record isn't a record They call it pud pulling! Nobody wants to see or hear you pulling your pud

A record would require everyone to use the same dyno with the same settings at the same elevation and same temperature and humidity and so one.
Like I always say, Shut up and drive and let the car do the talking....That's all people care about, Leave the pud pulling to the monkeys at the zoo!

Sounds like you have some fun toys up there! Not much into dyno numbers, but the 8.40's @ 170 in the turbo car is impressive with an IRS. Is that the 6 spd car you are talking about in your sig?
