Final bits and pieces including a cbr alternator relo kit
Also sent my ecu to Mike Norris for a start up tune so once that is back I'll be hopefully firing and checking the systems. Then maybe some drive time before a final dyno tune
Don't use the Derale relay harness provided with their fans, they're complete junk and WILL melt the fused power wire. I'm not sure I'd use their relays either, those fans pull a ton of amps on startup. I have 40A relays on mine.

This is true! I just went through this myself putting my car back together!

Thanks for the input. Do you happen to have details on what you used that worked as far as relays go? Same style relays just 40A instead?
I've been using the supplied Derale harnesses for over two years but put high quality fuses in them and haven't had a problem.
Ill have my PCM back next week so may just upgrade to a better 30a fuse right now and see if they pop on start up before upgrading the relays. Ill update everyone on what happens and thanks to everyone for your input.

You're one of the lucky ones! These melted in less than 500 miles with good fuses. Many many cases of the same thing happening with the supplied harness/fuse holder.
FWIW 4x4 crowd has seen the same thing, Most Jeeps use the Ford Taurus/Crown Vic fans and they are 2 speed and pull 50A on high. In line fuse holders are bad juju above 25A. You need #10 or #8 wire and good connectors for E-fans. Tap the feed power at wherever the Alternator wire meets to the battery..
Vacuum manifold installed and lines run. Feeding the manifold from the intake. Now to get a serpentine belt and some odds and ends and this thing will be done. Well I still need to figure out my downpipe/exhaust.
Did a run through on all systems and welded up a temporary downpipe. Will be either getting a Huron bumper exit or hopefully can find a shop to build a 4" full length at a reasonable price. Did get the chance for a start up though so getting closer.
No problem guys if you have any questions just let me know.
Update- Local exhaust shops just do not want to try a 4" full exhaust and I kind of understand their concerns so I will be doing a bumper exit. I need to research some on removing the overflow tank and what all I need to do there then will use hurons 2 piece 4" so hopefully will have this thing dyno ready very soon.
Also I have a new PS pump and using the CBR alternator relo kit so no more tensioners. I am getting a horrible squeal when the car is idoling. Could this be the belt being too tight or loose?
