Supercharged solid roller 422?

Default Supercharged solid roller 422?

I have a hydrolic roller 422 right now. I think I want to convert it to a solid roller. If I wanted to add a supercharger in the future, are there any drawbacks to having a solid roller vs a hydrolic with a supercharger? (other than the same drawbacks that you'd have without the SC.)

It's 11.1 now. That's another dilemma. Probably go up to 13.1 or so, so I guess I'd have to lower that again later too.

I have the same problem, my 382 allbore has 11.5 cr. I just got an RMCR Ttrim kit used, I have ordered a set of Absolute 6.0 heads but I`ll have to wait a while for them. Hey John or some other smart FI person is 11.5 cr too much for about 5psi w/intercooling, I have a 3.33 pulley that would make about 5psi before the heads get here?

I want to keep my heads. They are LS6 heads and too expensive to be replacing. Can't I lower/raise the compression with different pistons?

yes. with a bigger dish you can lower your CR. caveman I wouldnt recommend it. I would just open the chambers on the new heads and get a thicker hed gasket and lower the CR.

EdBlownVert made nice numbers with the ATI at 5 lbs. (upper 400rwhp) and high compression (no detonation). I predict at least 7lbs. with the 3.33 pulley.
