Default Piecing together D1SC Kit.

I've been working on piecing together a D1SC. I've got a head unit, but that's it.

This will be going on a fully forged 346 with a decent fuel system.

I know I'm going to need an intercooler of some sort, and looking over all the posts it seems like I might as well skip pro charger's options. Alchemist seems to have had good luck with a cheapy front mount, but I'm open to options.

Inlet, seems like I should use a truck inlet? Anything special I'll need to do on a Trans Am to run this?

The aster bracket seems to be a must, doesn't seem like there's much point in trying anything else.

What other obvious things am I missing? Other than piping from the head unit, to the inter-cooler, to the intake.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Here's a big list for you...

D1 head unit
Blower belt
Head unit pulley (size depends on how much boost you want)
Aster bracket with LS2 water pump
3'' Intercooler pipe kit
31"x12"x4'' Front mount intercooler
Procharger big red bypass valve with Aluminum weld in flange
Ati super damper crank pulley
7.65" Crank pulley for blower belt
3/8" NPT aluminum weld in bung for IAT sensor
Boost gauge
Vacuum manifold and vacuum hose
PCV catch can

Some optional things to consider...
Meth injection
Wide band gauge
Fuel pressure gauge
Burkhart chassis bumper support

Thank you for the detailed response and list. Any opinion on radiator/fan combo or an inlet?

The D1SC has to be clocked correct for the brackets, drain plug should be close to 6 o clock once bolted to the bracket

Take a look at these two links that I created several months ago, in order to help people out as so many people are now buying used ProCharger head units. Bob
