Default Boost issue

Ok guys. Man boost controller. And I can't get above 15psi!! Any suggestions??

Add more wastegate spring or buy another boost controller.

I made my boost controller. not sure if that makes a diff. and I believe its a 44mm wastegate.

the spring in it right now is a 8-9# I believe.

You can buy decent manual boost controllers on ebay for $20-25.
Do you use a ball and spring design?

Like what was stated above, add more wastegate spring. 15ish is about all that you can milk out of an 8 pound spring. A manual boost controller can generally "double" the spring's opening pressure, so 15 psi is about par for the course.

Some people really are dumb. How the **** can anyone give a reliable answer when we know **** all about the setup?

What engine, turbo, gate, controller, how is it all configured.

We dont all have crystal *****.

Switch boost controllers and wastegate springs. That simple.

A proper boost manual boost controller will be able to restrict flow down enough to keep any manifold pressure from going to the wastegate.

But if you have a weak *** spring and lots of exhaust backpressure, the exhaust will push the gate open.

I messed with it last nite. just for giggles I stretched my 7# out some and hit 18# no issue and still had more to go! thanks bud. im a little fat on my afr at 10.8 so gonna lean it up a littler and see
