Cheap 80lb injectors (not Siemens Deka)

Default Cheap 80lb injectors (not Siemens Deka)

SO on the flee bay they have 80lb no name injectors. They claim to be flow tested to 2%. They emailed me the injector data and I had a friend order a set and they look nice.....

Has anyone used these? Looks like they have sold quite a few sets.

I've tested a couple sets of knockoffs...Not pretty.

I put 28k on a set I had on a turbo cobalt, and I've got them on my turbo rcsb with about 3k on them. They work fine and they flow tested +/-3.7% when I sent them out

If they're Smartfire, throw them in the trash. I've never found a full set that had all 8 injectors working properly.

If you don't plan on making more than 700whp, decapped stock injectors seem to do the job, especially on a stock ECU.

I built a flow tester for my garage. I have 4 of every single stock injector. I was surprised to see the 1999 4.8 21.2 lb/hr injectors flow 50 lb/hr just by removing caps lol. Best part? You don't have to update injector flow data in HPTuners, just flow rate.

If I had to go aftermarket, $320 Deka 80s are my personal favorite. I'm not sure I would risk $100 on knockoffs before more real-world data is available.

In the 70's range.....awesome and way better than some questionable injectors!

Just wait until this catches on. Then every "tooner"/vendor who treats injector data like NASA's own propritary information may actually have to start helping the community at large to retain customers.

Denmah is my hero.

Hmmm this makes me wonder if u can uncap the 8.1 marine injectors. They flow 42# at stock pressure. Uncapped should be 80# or higher.

So what would stock 03 ls6 injectors flow if de-capped? Also would you be able to start and run the car on stock injector tune enough to move it On a trailer?

i thought the cap was what the factory used to calibrate the injector and set the spray pattern? am i being naive in thinking that stuff is important?

edit just watched the video where matt talks about spray pattern.

If they're TLF performance parts run like you're on fire. Because one day you might be. What a joke they are. Tom the owner (drill press owner) is also a real piece of work. But something with data available.

I have some white 36lb injectors on it now I was considering modifying. I was worried about data though. How do you find the flow rate vs kpa?
