Bad *** build! Please dont clear over the paint, it never looks right. The feed line from the sump to the pump doesn't really appear large enough. It really needs to be -12 and have a huge 100 micron prefilter so the pump doesn't cavitate.

Awesome car, build and story about your grandad buying it for you and the memories along the way. Will be following along for sure. The new wheels look much better imo

Where did you mount the fuel pump-as you have prob read, some guys had trouble with the 1800-i have the little brother 1400, I mounted it right in front of my tank, also sumped, so the fuel will gravity feed to it all the time.
I also found a ball valve, no restriction, and mounted it right out of the sump. After having to drain my tank to open the system, I said this isn't going to fly, lol
By the way, my pump has been in for 2 years, zero problems
I decided to trim and flatten the spare tire tub and mount the pump there. That way I could get the pump level with the bottom of the tank. I mounted the battery and methonal tank inside the spare tire cavity inside the trunk so that I didn't loose any trunk space.

Thanks! It's -10 to a 100 micron filter attached to the pump. Should be good to go. I know a lot of people running big numbers on -10 feed. Plus I'll also be spraying methonal on top for intake temps. But if I run into any issues I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the heads up though man!

Had a Snow day the other day so I took some time to move some wiring and decided to pull the upper intake off and paint it to match the original patina of the car. Lol came out pretty sick. When it pays to be an artist and a car guy Haha. Hopefully get to the dyno in a few weeks.

890 HP to the rear tires with 19 lbs of boost on a safe tune and as smooth as butter. Not a bad setting to start the summer with. I can't thank Don at Slowhawk Performance enough for patiently tuning this thing. There's more left in it but the car isn't even ready for it just yet. It's crazy how effortlessly it makes this power. More updates to come.

Very cool. That ought to haul the mail.
Quiet it down and no one will know until you embarrass them.
That tank is going to hurt some feelings!
Beautiful work as well.

Thanks! I actually have varex mufflers on each down pipe (never updated the the thread) so I can run open down pipe, or close the cutouts and have super quiet exhaust. It's pretty sick.
