Looks good. The silicone couple will be fine as long as the filter is good quality.

Damn 77 credits! Mother of god lol.

Hp tuners pro here, love it! Super easy to drop the supplied 2 or 3 bar OS and start pluggin away.

itsca very large filer, about 10" long and 8" diameter. If it gives my fits I'll order an aluminum elbow

I'm sure that will work. But you can get nice ones for like $25 all over eBay and amazon etc.
and they come with fittings and plugs etc.

Nearing the end finally! Just ordered a new ptc Converter, curtesy of Dusty. New adjustable lca's are on the way, building a shaft loop, all my fuel system components are in house, built my y block for my twin pumps from another chunk of aluminum, need to finish out my hood, swap intakes, change the entire fuel system, and swap converters and I'm ready to go racing! Getting excited!

its nothing pretty! But is functional. 1/4 inch npt inlets, 3/8 outlet. This blue fitting will thread into the top and then screw directly onto my 8an bulkhead fitting thrue the top of the sending unit.
