408 stroker procharger

Default 408 stroker procharger
Hello everyone, I am new to this whole build I purchased a 2000 Camaro z28 m4 4l60e without motor, I'm wanting to put a 408 stroker in the car and procharge it. I want to be able to drive the car around town take it on trips but still be able to take it to the track on weekends. Would it be best to go with a d1sc procharger or the f1x procharger? Looking to run a front mount intercooler instead of the dual intercoolers and I plan to run the open big red race valve. Any info or opinions to help with this build would be appreciated! Thank you!

F1-A for a 408ci, and the 4l60e trans isn't going to like it.

F1R and built 4L80. And I'd do an LS2 402 vs the 408.

I agree, I'd go with an F-1A which can make 18 to 20 psi of boost with a 408, it did in mine. To the OP, I'd go with the front mount and the Aster bracket. They are in the options section at the bottom of the above link. Bob

Is it much work to swap from 4l60e to the 4l80? Where is a good place to get a built transmission from? I'm also going to be putting a mosser 9" rear end in the car eventually

is there anyway I can buy separate? I want to buy the head unit first then get everything else I need after words so I don't spend a lot of money out of pocket all at once? Thanks for the info!

Bob is your man for procharger stuff! Best and most trustworthy in the business! I hear Jake's is having a good sale on 4l80s now. You'll need a little tunnel massaging with a big hammer, different crossmember and an adapter harness. Not a big deal. I cut a hole in my floor for the main plug for clearance as well. I have 2 brand new convertors that I'm looking to sell as well. Pm me on those if your interested. Don't waste your time on the 4l60, it won't live long
