Manual Boost Controllers? Are they all created equal?
What ones are you guys using?
Im gunna set up my turbo system with a mbc for now til i get the holley dominator system installed and up n running.
Besides, by than, i ll know more about turbo control with the Holley system and how to dial it in.
Jus looking to set up a simple/functional system for now. Thanx in advance

Cool. I ve done so much reading last couple days, i ll prolly jus skip the foreplay n go right for it. Set it up with the holley boost control solenoids or maybe boost leash. It looks as tho the holley system has the same features as the boost leash, so i mite aswell run it like that from jump

For any vac/boost lines more than a few inches long, I use brake line material. I don't trust all that flex in rubber tubing for long runs. Also, the smaller diameter means less volume to dampen the signal.

I tried a couple cheap ones, the cheap brass one had a ball and spring-when I tried to adjust it, the spring would catch on the threads inside, so I wasn't real comfy with that-I looked at the Hallman, pricy, but then I found a killer deal on a Hallman, comp. with the inside cable kit on Ebay-it was used, but in perfect shape-I like it, boost is steady and adjustable
i used the one that came with the "denmah kit" from VS
seemed to work just fine. I had more trouble figuring out which spring combo gave me the gate pressure i wanted. once that was sorted i could dial the **** between 7psi and 15 pretty easy.
