Holley Hp Flex fuel 1d table setup
Holley Hp Flex fuel 1d table setup I'm setting up my flex fuel 1D tables on my Holley HP setup. As far as the fuel offsets go, since I don't have a pump gas tune (car's been E85 since day one), should I be using negative values for less ethanol content? For example, would 85% be zero and work "backwards" down to E10 at say -35%? Seems that how it should work. Hopefully my question makes sense. Thanks
Hey 3window I believe you're right, just setup in negative values. It would just work reverse of how Holley's e85 setup guide is designed. You could also use a 2D table with flex fuel sensor and target A/F ratio offset if you need to richen or lean it out. You have multiple option depending on how and what you need to do.

We got it setup on my car but since I have been filling my drums up at a blender pump (true 85) I have found I use the flex fuel sensor just for reference as you can make big power on low as e70. Just one more thing to worry about and taking power out. Only reason I'm saying this is because you said you have always been on ethanol
Main reason is I've been caught scrambling for a station while driving around and runnin low on fuel. I've talked to Zac Brown (zBrown on YB, not sure if he's on here) and he's run E50 with the exact same tune as E85. It'd be nice to drive the car an not have to worry. The 1d tables will adjust everything I need to keep it safe. Even if it means losin a little power.
