Default FI Noob Questions

I finished my H/C/I set up on my 02 M6 TA last year and have been thinking about spraying it or switching to a SC set up. I am new to both so I have been researching the pros and cons of both. The car is not a daily and has about 26K miles on it. It is a SBE LS1 with a 92/92 set up, TFS 220's, Tick SNS Stage 3, Morel lifters & stock rockers with trunion kit.
When I did that work I also added 43lb injectors, Racetronix fuel pump (cant remember the part number of the top of my head but its the purple pump) and hardwire kit, an S60 w/ 4.10, Moster Stage II clutch/flywheel, AR LT headers, Magnaflow exhaust, 315 drag radials. The car was tuned by Pat G at his garage. The car put down 410/399 on his dyno and runs great.
I did some other stuff but with chassis and suspension as well but I dont think it is relevant to this.
I was considering a Procharger. I know with that set up I would need to swap that cam because I dont think it is boost friendly and re-tune. I am assuming I am okay on the fuel set up and I am unsure about the 4.10's.

Looking for some guidance from some FI pro's. Are the 4.10's okay? Am I right that fueling is sufficient for a boost set up that is safe for the SBE? Will the unbuilt T56 hold up to the additional power? I do all the work myself ( except tuning) so I am figuring I will be out $5K-$6K for a SC set up. Any insights you could offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

With 4.10s and a T56, the first gear you'll be able to use is 4th.
42 lb injectors are not big enough, and neither is any single pump you'll get from Racetronix.
Your Stage 2 clutch will start to struggle at some point.

The problem with spending money on an N/A setup and then deciding its not enough, is that you end up tossing out half of what you bought when you go supercharger, and all of what you spent if you go turbo lol.

Procharger setup for only $5-$6k seems a bit optimistic.

Damn!!! LOL!!! I here ya. It certainly sounds like there is some truth in that. SMH...don't know that it is worth the time or money to start all over for boost (for me personally, anyway). Sounds like it would be just easier to start fresh on a third car. Wife can take the H/C car and I will build a boosted one. Win/Win!!

Thanks for the info. Based on JoeNova's feedback it doesnt sound like this is the way to go on this car anyhow. I've read alot of his posts so I know he has a lot of experience with boosted applications. I dont want to scrap a lot of perfectly good parts on a good running car so it looks like this one might get a bit of spray and then I will look for something new to boost. I do have a couple of iron blocks in the shed that would probably work better anyway. That way I can just build the whole bottom end and do it right. It will take more time and more money but from what you guys are saying its probably the way to go.

You have a lot of good parts on your car now. You could easily sell a lot of what you have and get stock parts then add boost.

I would just put some nitrous on it and call it a day. I kind of did the same thing you did I built it for NA then wanted more and thought about boost but was just too far into the build to swing it. So I put nitrous on it and LOVE it! I still want to build a turbo car so I'm just saving for another project haha

This is another good option if you don't want to spend big bucks.

Yeah, I am going to just take this advise and do a little spray. With the money I will save I can also ad a cage (another think on the "to do" list) and probably have some of the small paint issues take care of. This way I don't have to scratch a lot of good parts and worry about selling them on the forum. Also, given the amount of time I actually spend driving the car this makes more sense.
I think when I priced everything out for a plate kit, bottle and bottle warmer, wiring, LNC-2000, window switch, etc (everything to "safely" spray) I think I was looking at about $2000-$2500.

Thank you all for the input. Might of talked me off a ledge there. Perhaps when I feel like this car is "done" I can start building a purpose built set up for boost. One reason I like the set up I have is that is reasonably reliable and street-able. I would have no issues jumping in it and driving a few hundred miles. I would want the same for a boosted car and it doesnt seem like I could really change gears at this point on this car and get everything I wanted without really tearing into it again.
