Default Scavenge pump to valve cover for drain?

Well, now that I have the truck about done I am mounting the oil scavenge pump and running the drain line. I have fittings in each side of the oil pan BUT they are setup for gravity drain from above. I have places cut out of the crossmember but it doesnt allow the line to come in from another direction. So with a scavenge pump, can the drain be sent to the valve cover? The turbo is in the bed, the pump is below the cab. So the oil will be pushed uphill to the valve cover.

Thought about that too. Would just need to remove everything up front and remove the cover. I have a 10AN oil fil cap already that can be used. I'm not sure how much oil the turbo flows. I don't want to flood the top of the head. But I have read that some have done it this way. I am also wondering if its an issue to have the hose go that high, if the pump can actually push all the oil from the line or could it backup into the pump after shut down because the line didn't get all the oil pushed pout.

My AGP TT kit for my Camaro returns the oil to the drivers side valve cover via scavenge pump. The turbos are mounted down by where the cats would be. IMO its a lot cleaner looking to drill and tap the valve cover and plumb it there and not the fill cap.

Many people have run it with great success. The STS rear mount kits run them back to the oil fill cap.

Ok. Cool. Im not worried about the look right now. Just didnt want an issue running it there. Im trying to get it run to one if the pan locations.
