small intercooler or none (e85 +water/meth)
73 mercedes 280 4 door sedan
5.3 aluminum block gen 4 internals,799 heads,vs racing 7875 billet turbo,
have a ms3 gold box with tcu for the 4l80e with a flex fuel sensor
planning on mostly e85 (may mix it down for a long trip or something)
planning on water meth 70/30 or whatever napa currently sells as washer fluid
lower water/meth gph for cooling not fuel (have 1000cc injectors and a pair of wally 450's and if i run out of injector i will purchase larger)
anyway there is zero room on this thing (far less underhood room than say a foxbody mustang (i thought the jeep i did turbo ls was tight i wish i had that room on this)
i wasn't planning on running any intercooler due to lack of room
i did find 1 a2a intercooler that would work but would be a pain as the trans cooler would have to be moved to the rear of the car

it would be vertical in front of the radiator with the connections facing down
the (long winded) question is due to core size would this be more of a restriction than a benefit being its gonna be e85/watermeth anyway

Occasional pump gas... no intercooler, utilize the meth kit and have the ECU limit boost and activate meth based on fuel composition sensor readings.
Or, do the intercooler and the same plan with a smidge more boost when on pump gas.
