Default Steve's and Mike's Turbo Formula

Some might remember this wicked turbo Formula at the N&S shootout.
Co-owned by Steve T. and Mike B. (TwnTrboCE). Same engine as reckless posted the 1150fwhp ls1
It ran a best of 9.18@150 with a whole lot more to come

Yes, the intake is on backwards. As far as the intercooler, there are brackets welded to the roll bar then intercooler mounted to the brackets pretty straight forward. Then direct route from engine bay to intake with a very small 45-90 elbow courtesy of Mike Brown fabrication...

I heard it will go a lot faster, they had fuel pump or voltage problems. Car was very cool, one of my NvsS favorites.

Not to rub salt in an open wound, but that sounds substantially faster than the low 10 that a certain turbo shop has been bragging about in every turbo thread...

I'd say that record wasn't beaten, it was CRUSHED by almost a full second.

Nothing against said shop, he's OK in my book.

The car will probably be the next 8 second LS1.The 9.18 pass was the 5th or 6th time the car had been down the track. The car wasn't being leaned on hard at all.The air to water intercooler is slick.Or should I say air to ice intercooler.

True bad30th, but the OH turbo car has a ton more parts in it.

I'm sure they want mid/high 8's with the OH car since it has a 88/98mm turbo.

Its cool they are funded by themselves, built by themselves, raced by them and competing against the high dollar shop cars.
mid eights should be obtainable, maybe low 8s when it gets cold
