And Rob, i wasnt just refering to you when i said they are competing against "shop" cars. I was talking about all the shops.

We did have it at the track. The Sunday before and the Thursday before NvsS. Both times the car never made a full pass. NvsS was the first time the car made a full pass. On the 9.18 pass it went 150mph. Were looking for 160 Thursday if the weather holds.
Jonathan, the car wasn't built to drive on the street. So we had VFN fill in the headlight areas in the hood. Were going to Kilkare Thursday.

This is sort of on topic since Mike and the guys are looking for track time and the FI crowd can always use some shakedown runs. So I thought I'd post a quick public service announcment for the OH, MI, IN & even the Chicago guys.
Motown Muscle will be renting out Norwalk on Friday, July 30th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for our second club event of the year. You are all welcome swing buy and run with us. It's not a big money event because our goal is to get the club (about 150 members) out to TNT and race prep for their other events. There simply aren't many better tracks to run a PB at than Norwalk.
We're going to attempt to drag a good chunk on the Michigan FI contingent (f-bodies, vettes and stangs) down for the event if we can get enough Doctors' Notes passed around for the gang to skip out of work on a Friday. We will attempt to apply peer pressure to a few that need to stop wrenching and get out racing.
If you guys are intereted I'll post a link to the race info on our site. Our racing is actually sponsored by Ramchargers, Livernois Motorsports and Hardcore Motorsports so I trust this isn't a posting violation.

Ok ill try to make it, i just got to stop off somewhere before and get me a make-my-car-go-alot-slower mod.
I think i still have your cell number, ill give you a call thursday before i leave to make sure your going or not, unless its a definate (pending no rain).
