Novi Supercharger Question So i had talked to some shop about the way u calculate the rpm of the blower , and i was told not to spin my Novi 2200SL past 59k . Now i was told if i remove the oil slinger and convert it to oil fed instead of self contained that i could spin it to 80K with no problem . Has any one done this mod to there blower? is it worth it ? and problems ? Thanks

I don't agree with that at all. The Novi SL 2200 and regular 2200 have different bearings. It's not a matter of oil being fed or getting hot.
80,000 is stupid for an original 2200sl if you converted it.

YSi isn't that much bigger . i do believe it only flow 200 cfm more . I never planed on spinning it that fast . But i was nice to know that i could . I have ATI 12% over drive damper so if i do want to spin it fast i can .
