Differences in 5.3 block castings

Not trying to discredit you… Just wondering.
Stock block LC9’s and L33’s have also been in the 7’s... And that’s using the stock rotating assy, unlike the Ohio boys engines. By design Siamese bores are stronger. Whether or not a thick iron cylinder wall is as strong is the question I guess. I know the iron 6.0 block is nowhere near as strong as the L33/LC9

So where does the LH6 stand amongst the gen 4 blocks? For some reason I don't ever see anyone talk about them.
Just started running one myself at around 700rw.
Also, for whatever its worth, when you see the two blocks side by side (gen 3 iron vs gen 4 aluminum) the gen 4 looks much more beefy.

There is a guy on ebay from texas I think, that sells core shortblocks. 12571048 is the casting number he lists for the l33, and I type that into the search. Usually $395. He has none listed now, but I can find his user name if you would like. Its bding or something like that.
Oh, a lot of shops machine these blocks to ls1 bore size which is another .098....

Your I Houston right. You should be able to find a gen4 aluminum 5.3 no problem. I just picked up an lc9 long block for $50 that has a dod lifted tick. Delete dod and it's brand new again. Got to the Chevy dealer and ask for one of their cores that's where I get mine.
