LS9 Supercharger Lid Dimensions?
Long time lurker.. Slowly working my way through a full-up build of a boosted LS swap into a 2003 BMW 3 series wagon.
To date, I've completed a Ford 8.8 IRS diff conversion and full M3 suspension swap. All the "easy" stuff is out of the way. Now comes the tricky part - Stuffing all the goodies under the stock hood.

I've gotten as far as mocking up an LSA blower, but the passenger compartment fresh-air cowl is EXTREMELY tight to the blower. I don't have qualms doing some custom CF or glass work, but wanted to see if anyone could help me with some dimensions of the LS9 supercharger lid? In particular, I'm looking for height when viewed from the side, of anything from the SC/lid split line upwards.. I'd love to get some good measurements to try and figure out if this will fit under an un-modified hood or not..

...I think it's going to be a really tight fit, but the LS9 lid just may work...
This means that an ls9 lid would likely not satisfy you needs on the LSA base regardless of weather or not it fits.

The hardware interface is the same with the exception of how the brick(s) adjoin.. The LS9 blower has 2 seal grooves and a "y" shaped seal that touch the long bricks vs the brick on the LSA that has a seal ring around the blower outlet. The good news is that I can easily machine the required grooves into the LSA blower to appropriately seal the LS9 lid.. so long as it'd fit!
I'm shocked nobody is willing to run out to their ZR1 (which everyone has sittin' around, right?) and bust out a tape measure and 10 minutes..
