Default Custom blow through intake design??

Ok so here's the deal, I have a 4.8 that I am putting in a 96 S10.

I am planning on doing a valley mount turbo, power stroke style and building a custom intake to mount it with a pedestal mount and custom valley cover.

Anyway, with boost does intake runner length matter?? I have seen people say yes and people say no.
This will be a blow through setup with a carb.

Thanks in advance for any info :-)

By Valley...surely you do not mean the valley in the middle of the engine where the intake/carb normally resides ?

And then you want to use a carb ?

Short runners will move peak power etc higher up the rpm range.
Longer will offer better performance lower down.

Those are fairly generic rules regardless of boost.

Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen IMO.

Where is the carb gonna go?

With a blowthru setup runner length is important.. all of them being Equal is VERY important... because you are depending on the characteristics of the intake to distribute the air and fuel properly and even to the motor.

You do understand that "hot v" turbo setups require the intake and exhaust ports on the heads to be reversed, don't you?
