Default 4th gen boost by gear

Hello all. I've been lurking for a while and have learned a lot from this site. Figured I'd contribute. I haven't seen much success with boost by gear in a 4th gen. I decided to give it a try anyways. I've seen it work on Corvette's but the shifter pattern is really tight on the 4th gen. You have to be accurate when you mount the switches.

I used a couple micro switches like everyone else does but mine have little rollers on them. I'm using an eboost2 controller. It's set up using external switching. Set point 1 is neutral, 3,4,5&6. Set point 2 is first gear and set point 3 is second gear. I'm going to hook set point 4 to a push button switch once I get my clutch issues sorted out. 4 will then be able to disable the boost by gear for the track if the traction is there or set it a couple pounds higher than set point 1 is in case it gets hairy on the highway.

Right now I have a 5.5lb spring in my gate.
I see 5.5 in first, 9 in second and 12 in third. Third is set up to ramp in hard with the gain on the eboost2. On the street it's enough to keep the shitty nt05r's chirping the whole time from a dig but very controllable.

I got a pack of 10 switches on Amazon for like $10. It only took a couple hours of my time, some scrap metal and a welder. You can't use the little shifter boot on the trans but ohh well. I have about 1000 miles on it so far.

How are you telling it that its low speed? GPS input or driveshaft speed input?

I dont think any of this is happening. Switch is only engaged in 1st...other switch is only engaged in 2nd, then no switches engaged.

I like it, Link to the switches?

Yep, you're right. It's pretty simple.

As others say, it is not speed related.

It simply has 4 different boost settings available, activated depending on which switch is triggered at the time.
