Need help picking a PCM for mild turbo build
Drivetrain will be:
5.3L engine from 2004 Silverado
4l80e transmission build to 2004 needs (HD input, etc) Stock converter.
Planetary doubler (~2.7 reduction)
Gear driven transfer case (~2.3 reduction)
Dana axles with 4.88 gears
40" or larger tires
Use:
Daily driving thus desire for turbo
Technical rock crawling (not rock racing, no mudding, maybe snow)
NOTE: this is not a race car. I'm not trying to push the engine to the ragged limit.
Starting goals:
I want to hit ~500hp at the rear tires on E85 gas.
Eventual goal:
See how much I can squeeze out of it on 87 octane pump gas as well as E85.
Final goal:
Dial the tune back from max to safe for reliable daily use.
Starting engine:
Pulled from 2004 Silverado with ~160k miles.
Short block
Went with forged rods and pistons for extra safety margin:
Pistons: WISECO/LJMS BUILT forged 3.8"
Rods: CALLIES COMP STAR
Cam : LJMS Truck Stage 2 Cam (212/218 .553/.553)
Heads
I have the 862 heads. I updated springs with BTR Platinum set.
Intake:
Intake is Holley Mid-Riser manifold plus using the 417 intercooler.
Turbo/Hot side:
Using passenger side Trick Performance turbo manifold. VS Racing 7875
Fuel pump/tank:
I will be doing a custom fuel tank to house a 99 Camaro fuel assembly with an unknown fuel pump(s) The fuel assembly has fuel composition sensor.
Throttle body:
Stock 2004 drive by wire 78mm.
MAF:
Currently ACDelco 213-4222.
I currently have HP tuners and a pile of PCMs with SERV# 12586242 for my other rig(LQ4).
My quick search says the 12586242 is a flex fuel enabled PCM so it covers being able to go from E85 to normal fuel without changing tune/pcm.
Is this PCM a bad choice? I'm hoping to keep most equipment in common between my two LSx swaps.
Is an aftermarket such as Holley, MS3, or Megasquirt a better option? Keep in mind, I'm not racing or trying to squeeze every last hp out of the tune/engine.

My quick search claimed the 12586242 PCM will do flex fuel. I haven't pulled it up in HP Tuner to see if it is true.
I'm not stuck on the stock 78mm drive by wire throttle body but a previous question said the 78mm TB won't limit my power for my overly modest goals.
