I was planning to build a sbe 04-06 lq4, but a 2002 5.3 w. ls3 heads fell into my lap. This is my first FI/EFI build with twin s366's planned. Strategy is to learn from this first build, stage 1.0 and then go bulletproof. My question is everything for the 5.3 (cam, sensors, etc, etc) swapable over to the 6.0? I don't want to have to buy twice.

Post pics of the 5.3 with ls3 heads. I'd like to see that. Minimum bore foe ls3 heads is 4.0

Yea, if it has factory LS3 heads on it (aftermarket makes a couple "small bore" LS3 heads ) dont run them. Sell them and buy some 243s or 317s and put some money in your pocket.

I'd be interested in the ls3 heads but if you do not want to buy twice go with the 6.0 to begin with..
