Spacers are fine and safe if done right. You'd wanna install some ARP studs prior to doing any spacer at all. And that can be a PIA if you don't have a 4 channel rear (you can install/remove the studs thru the 4 channel sensor hole on the axle). Hubcentric to wheel and hub are best too. I doubt the track would catch onto small ones.
I just caught that I said fm 10. Those are what I've always lusted for....guess those were on the brain. If I can get a decent number out of the car with this 10bolt this coming Saturday, I probably won't track the car anymore till I finish the drivetrain.

Overall, it's a great looking car. With those track wheels on it, it just looks down right evil. Maybe it's the all black look.

Thanks. When i took the FM5s off and put these on.... it felt like a HUGE difference in weight. And nah, gotta keep the FM5s around for street duty... don't want to be riding around on ET streets all the time as I drive the car quite a bit. I will say this though, car better be fast this Saturday.

I like the look a lot better! Unless you're prepared to do a rear end, launching off the tbrake on drag radials isn't going to go well if it hooks. If they were slicks it might be live a few hits.

I agree, but check how this guy finessed the launch off the brake. I'm not going to try it, but he got it just right. Pretty fast on the 10 bolt too, hoping I have similar success tomorrow.
