Turbonetics 7875 oil restrictor?

Turbonetics 7875 oil restrictor? Can i run one on my7875? My drain doesnt have a lot of pitch to it and im leaking oil between the exhaust housing and center section under boost. Would like to try it before going to a scavenge setup. Im running the stock oil pump.

That's not what an oil restrictor is for, need to figure out the real problem. And the problem may be, you need to use a pump.

It depends what sort of oil pressure you are seeing, the size of line etc.
Most oil journal turbos need no restrictor, but as every engine is different there is no generic answer.
It's mostly BB turbos that must have a restrictor, but they are usually built in.
Most oil problems are as said, inadequate oil return although many do bandaid this with restrictors on the oil supply side..
Although if for some reason your engine did make unusually high oil pressure, that's a different scenario where a restrictor may help.
Although I seen recently Turbosmart have some new oil pressure regulator for turbo oil feed lines.

It is a BB turbo and after looking into it closer there is a screen and a restrictor in it.
My leak ended up being the drain fitting itself leaking because of a missing gasket. I bought the turbo used and just assumed it was there.

Verdad Gallardo The used T7875 I bought came the install directions and in bold letter suggested not using a oil feed restrictor.
