Default Blower cam Swap in mind

My motor is an iron block 370c.i. setup....

I'm running a 214/218 .540/.550 114lsa cam currently.....looking over my dynosheets I make peak power right before 6000rpms and it falls from there....

I'm making 462rwhp and 522rwtq currently, I dynoed through my non locking TH400 w/a 4000 stall and 12-bolt on 28" E.T.s It was seeing close to 10psi on the dyno, I see anywhere from 10-11 on the street usually.....

I got a FMIC on order, I'm going to have this installed, relocate battery to the rear (its a must for the piping) and pulley down to a 3.2".....

I want to hit about 15psi w/the setup, but I might get a boost drop from the intercooler......

I love the way the car idles/drives now, but I would really like to have peak power at 6500-6800 range, the car right now drives like a Torque monster...

I was thinking either a 230/236 .590/.600 114lsa or a 232/238 .600/.610 114lsa style cam.....will I pick up more power throughout the range?

That is a huge jump in cams. I am not sure why you chose to go so much bigger at one time but maybe something in the 224/230 228/232 range I think that would make your peak around the 6500-6800 range just my thoughts PSJ is running a cam in that area I can't remember exact specs My 224/230 114lsa cam peaks around 6500 at least it should I haven't got a chance to finish the tune after falling fuel presure. I think FMS has a great cam I think it is a FM7 224/230 586/596 114 or 115 I can't remember there website has been under construction for a while give them a call Alan was real nice to me and has been great with a lot of others. Just my.02 but I am no expert try what you want who knows you could be on to something?

I got bigger cubes over the 348, so I'll need slightly more duration I think....

You know mine, with 370 cubes I would think that you can go with a bigger cam. FMS was rec'ed above give him a call, he is by far one of the best cam spec'ers out there for the LS1. Cmotorsports has a good selection too and are very helpful, get in touch with them too.

233/244 .050 .578/.602 on a 115LSA

You know mine.... almost exactly what you are wanting
230/236 .592/.602 on a 114 I called Allen at FMS and he speced me out a cam
a 236/242 .598/.608 on a 114
We pulled my motor to 6800 and i believe i would of seen more boost if i didnt have a leak.
I forgot you were only pulling the motor to 6K rpm's. That 10-11 psi is with the 3.4" pulley right.... i believe i can make 1-2 psi more with revving my motor 6-800 rpm's higher then you did yours..... what do ya think? I believe you will see a boost rise withe the new FMIC Bos. I know ScottWS6 did.
