Default VS 78/75 users

Gathering parts for another build, kind of budget minded (ya, right, lol)
Anyway, it will be a 5.3, cam, log manifold, 99.9% street, maybe one track outing. I don't plan on an IC'er at first, maybe meth spray.
I was looking at the billet VS 78/75, or the 83/75-my manifold will have a T4 flange, otherwise I would prob get a BW S475, 83, 1.10, but a T4 is $200 more, which puts it around $900. Kind of concerned about reliability or rebuildability, so like to hear your thoughts on them. Thanks

Have you considered the On3 84mm billet? Tts a 84/75 on the same frame as the other 2 you mentioned. People seem to be pretty happy with them. I plan on trying one just for the hell of it so I have my own personal experience to share with others.

also the VSRacing 75mm billet with the 1.10 A/R T4 would breath a little better with the slightly larger than the very common 0.96 A/R T4 housing. I just saw this one for the first time...hmmm. We are turbine limited, not compressor limited. A 75mm compressor is plenty big for the LS on a stock short block.

I've got an On3 7875 cast, but if this goes i'll be going with the VS Billet 7875. It's on a 5.3 with a Tick Stage 2 turbo cam. Spools really well and delivers all the power I could want.

I like mine. It's physically small too so it packages well.
