M6 fbody turbo gear

Ok guys help me out I've got a turbo fbody 408 m6 car as of right now it makes 727hp and 705tq with 28" tire, what's the best dragstrip gear? Car is full interior so it's a tank, and also all I have around me is 1/8th mile tracks. Thanks

My car is a 408 turbo M6 car and I'm running a 3.42 gear but I'm running a 26 inch tire.

I shift at 6300 it falls off at 6500. I have a 3.50 gear in it now, I'm just wondering if I should change it to like a 3.60 or a 3.70 I forgot to mention its a 9in also.

. But yea, should run fine with the ratios you mentioned being that all you have is 8th mile around you. I think the best thing to do, and most accurate... would be to use a computer type track calculator to give you the hard facts, instead of us guessing (no sarcasm).

I have it feels like a slug out of the hole. I'm just trying to see some real experience as far as gears or should I look somewhere else other than the gear.

Yea I'd look somewhere else too. 3.55 gear with 28" tires here and my car does just fine out of the hole.

What kind of boost are you launching on?

What RPM are you leaving at and how much boost?

3.73s, 26 inch slick stock suspension set up has gone 1.52. Hoping a 28 inch slicks will get me 1.4x 60 fts.
