Default 5.3L or 6.0L with pricing

I have 3 local motors for sale to me.

option 1 is a 5.3 from a 06 sierra with 270,000 for $800 with a harness

option 2 is a 5.3 from unknown truck with 400,000 for $500

option 3 is a 6.0 from a 04 escalade with 316,000 for $1300 obo (probably get this down to 1000)

My question is if I plan on fully rebuilding these mileage shouldnt matter?

also which one is the best deal and cheapest to build parts wise, I plan on doing a turbo build.

I want to go with the bigger motor to make more power easier but not if im going to be paying twice as much for parts because its a desirable 6L.

any thought or opinions are greatly appreciated. my power goal will be 650-700rwhp for those who will be asking.

Holy milage. Where are you located bc those prices are higher than mine lol. Many local junk yards ask for around 500, you can hear the thing run and they're usually around 100k miles. If you going to rebuild it anyways. You can even buy a core. My junkyard have them for 200 or 300 each on the 6.0

these figures are in kilometers but still, does it matter if it gets pulled apart machined etc?

I wouldn't think so as long as it still runs and it's not like it's knocking or something. If it's a good motor with miles it'll be the typical stuff you're gonna replace. Personally I'd go 6.0 if it's only a few hundred more

ya id rather go bigger myself but is it more expensive to build a forged 6L compared to a forged 5.3 ?

Hold on, if your planning on building a "forged" motor, then buy the 6.0 hands down.

The only issue with those number is how much wear you may find on parts you plan to reuse. If you're going all new rotating assembly/heads then the only issue is the block itself. I have no idea where you're located but as other have said those prices are really high.
It doesn't matter if it's a 5.3 or a 6.0 the price will be the same. The only difference between a 5.3 and a 6.0 is bore size (same crank and rods) so if there is an increased cost it will only be for the pistons and even then it shouldn't be much if any at all.

if that is KM's then that $$ is probably CAD right?

so add 20% for us 'murcans

if that has gen 4 rods/24x crank reluctor, an '04 6.0 with ~200,000 miles would be a pretty fair deal for $1200 US.

the crossover year 6.0's are fetching a premium these days. I sold just a long block recently for $1000.

What exactly is an engine core? Does that mean it's rebuild able with a block that is guaranteed good?

If I got it for $1000 CAD that'd be a 04 6L for $800 USD if i got it for asking at $1300 CAD it be $1040 USD with 200,000 miles.

I'm undecided if I go with just a rebuild kit run stock internals which will cost me $5-600 for the kit and do it on the cheap or buy a forged rotating assembly for piece of mind for an additional 2000-2500

I'll be pulling my 5.3 in the next few weeks. I am the second owner of the truck. The original owner kept it up real nice. Will be a complete engine basically. Compression check just done this weekend and all cylinders were 90% or better. This engine is a 178,000 mile unit out of an all original truck (in my sig). I am dropping in a stroked LS3.
