Default Turbo upgrade time suggestions

So I have a pretty simple question here, I have a turbo that's starting to pump oil and I want to upgrade. My goals are not lofty, I currently have a s366 on the car and I love the response, that being said as far as turbo options go I have narrowed it down to two choices, I'm looking at a billet s369 and the billet 7875. My goal for the car is around 600whp. I do love the size of the 7875 but switching to that turbo while it will be about 100 dollars less for me it makes me change the down pipe and possibly some of the charge pipe routing. Also I do have the wastegate welded into the exhaust housing on my current turbo so I would need to buy a new wastegate flange and rework the downpipe. Now the s369 seems like it is a bit small but from the compressor maps I'm reading should be able to help me reach my 600whp goal. Here are the specs on the engine combo in my car.

2005 gen4 6.gen4 bone stock long block
ls1 intake
Z06 cam
4l80e with a 3200 single billet converter

What say you guys? Should I go with a billet s369 due to the fact on paper it should get me to my goal and I can just install it into my current exhaust housing. Or should I make the jump to the 7875 and rework what I need too. From my research the billet s369 is around 650 and the 7875 is about 560, but after reworking things and welding the wastegate into the 7875 it looks like the cost is going to be around the same.

What are your opinions?
Thanks.

S366 should make that power no problem.

First off krazy you live in the same city I do. Secondly go 7875. Having room to grow is always worth it.

Im curious how long the old turbo lasted. Did you use synthetic oil? did you run a bypass (blow off)? auto/manual?

Any use characteristics?

I'm running delo 15-40 because I had it in my garage, I'm using a 50mm bov and it's a 4l80e with a billet converter. I've had oil pressure issues with 2 engines so far and I feel like that is the reason I'm pushing oil. Also I have a 75 pacer I'm turning into a drag car so I don't need much room to grow, the car we are talking about in this post is my daily driver lol. So I feel if I can tickle the 600whp mark I will be super happy but anywhere in the 500s realistically is totally fine with me. Right now the car is faster then anything I've roll raced and I have no idea what kind of power it's actually making

Ok another way to put it is for the slightly increased lag time (which is a blessing in a street car that's daily driven) you don't have to push the turbo as hard and it will last longer. What lasts longer something run at 90% of its max or 70%. The reality is pick what you want and you seem to be leaning towards the borg. It will be easier for sure from what you already have, I just think in my opinion such a small turbo shouldn't be run as a single on a V8.

It is a very small turbo for a lq4, however the response is insane. I'm worried about the fact that it does have a very mild cam and it won't be able to take full potential of the 7875.

Send current turbo into forced inductions and have the billet 72mm wheel installed. Best of both worlds no need for down pipe fabbing or waste gate. They can rebuild it cheaper than any of the other options.

As others say, it's a small unit for a 6.0

But if it makes you happy and does what you need, fair play. From a simplicity point of view, the 369 is a no brainer.
You could probably fit it without even unbolting the turbine housing.

Or again as others have said, some companies offer slightly larger wheels in the S300 frame but they would be custom units

If you're changing turbos, making new downpipe etc..the world is your oyster there are dozens of options

Yea I'm going to call forced inductions and see what they think, as much as I love the fast response of this turbo, one thing I've learned over the years with sbe cars is that high cylinder pressure at low rpm is not ideal. Unfortunately I cannot fit anything under the hood that is physically bigger then a s300. Cramped turbo placement.

That sounds like a good call. Forced Inductions will help you out.
